Description
Visited this Civil War Site in 1985. This is the fountain that sprung up from a lightning strike. Prisoners had fresh water you drink. So the story goes...tens of thousands of prisoners were dying of thirst at the Military prison in Andersonville, Georgia in 1864. The prisoners cry of thirst rang up to heaven and God heard. A mighty thunder clap CAME DOWN and BOOM THE SPRING CAME FORTH! POWs claimed "DIVINE INTERVENTION"
